Pys Melyn are Ceiri, Sion, Owain, Owain and Jac from Pen Llŷn, North Wales. Forming in 2014, the band’s first album ‘Bywyd Llonydd’ drew on a variety of global sounds and was followed by ‘Bolmynydd’ with its more traditional range of 60s/70s influences. Their third record, ‘Fel Efeilliaid’ (Like Twins) led to a BBC 6Music session for Riley and Coe, as well as supporting Gruff Rhys and a headline tour of the UK. Last year, the band embarked on a headline tour of Japan and Korea.
